Correia Perfume Bottle -- Cobalt Blue with Silver Thread

This beautiful Steven Correia perfume bottle is dark cobalt blue with a silver thread overlay. It is approximately 2¼ in diameter and stands about 2 to the rim and 4½ to the top of its stopper. The bottle is signed Correia VPSUCN 24.83.11 and it has its paper label on the bottom.

This early piece is from 1983. Steven Correia produces the best in contemporary American art glass. His work can be found on permanent display at the White House (Washington, D.C), Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), Smithsonian Institute (Washington, D.C.), Corning Museum (Corning, New York), and Chrysler Museum of Art (Norfolk, Virginia).

Hall "Serenade" Eureka 9 1/2" Pie Baker

This pie baker is in the "Serenade" pattern produced by Hall for the Eureka Tea Company of Chicago. The pie baker is in good condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing.

Antique Wooden Cabbage Slicer

This cabbage slicer (or slaw maker) is about 9 x 25 3/4 x 18 1/2 high" (from the ground to the top of the cabbage box). It has a nice, naturally developed patina. The slicer was well made, with the box used for holding the cabbage nicely dovetailed. The manufacturer's name and patent number are impressed in the wood. Several wing nuts are missing from the bottom bolts that retain the blades. (The wing nuts attach underneath the trough.) The legs appear to be a later addition and will be removed for shipping. They may be easily reattached or left off for mounting on a wall.
